    A comparison of erp-success measurement approaches

    ERP projects are complex purposes which influence main internal and external operations of companies. There are different research approaches which try to develop models for IS / ERP success measurement or IT-success measurement in general. Each model has its own area of application and sometimes a specific measurement approach based, for instance, on different systems or different stakeholders involved. This research paper shows some of the most important models developed in the literature and an overview of the different approaches of the models. An analysis which shows the strengths, weaknesses and the cases in which the specific model could be used is made

    Morphology and Tensile Properties of Multigraft Copolymers with Regularly Spaced Tri-, Tetra-, and Hexafunctional Junction Points

    The effect of chain architecture on the morphological and tensile properties of series of multigraft copolymers, with regularly spaced tri-, tetra-, and hexafunctional junction points, was investigated using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), and tensile testing. The materials were synthesized by coupling difunctional polyisoprene (PI) spacers and living polystyrene (PS) branches, made by anionic polymerization, with chlorosilanes of different functionalities. Since the coupling process is a step-growth polymerization, yielding polydisperse products, fractionation was utilized to separate each material into three fractions (high, middle, and low molecular weight), each of low polydispersity. All three fractions have the same chain architecture on a per junction point basis but differ in the number of junction point units per molecule. By applying the constituting block copolymer concept, the physical behavior of these molecules was compared with current theories. It was found that morphological behavior of these graft copolymers can be predicted using theoretical approaches and is independent on the number of junction points. The number of the junction points, however, greatly influences the long-range order of microphase separation. Additionally, two new parameters for adjusting mechanical properties of multigraft copolymers were found in this investigation: (1) functionality of the graft copolymerstri-, tetra-, or hexafunctionals and (2) number of junction points per molecule. An increase in functionality causes a change in morphology, resulting in a high level of tensile strength for tetrafunctional (cylindrical) and hexafunctional (lamellae) multigraft copolymers, leading to about the twice the strength of the spherical trifunctional multigrafts of similar overall composition. Tetrafunctional multigraft copolymers show a surprisingly high strain at break, far exceeding that of commercial block copolymer thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs). Strain at break and tensile strength increase linearly with the number of junction points per molecule. Hysteresis experiments at about 300-900% deformation demonstrate that multifunctional multigraft copolymers have improved high elasticity as compared to commercial TPEs like Kraton or Styroflex

    A versatile optode system for oxygen, carbon dioxide, and pH measurements in seawater with integrated battery and logger

    Herein, we present a small and versatile optode system with integrated battery and logger for monitoring of O-2, pH, and pCO(2) in seawater. Three sensing materials designed for seawater measurements are optimized with respect to dynamic measurement range and long-term stability. The spectral properties of the sensing materials were tailored to be compatible with a commercially available laboratory oxygen logger that was fitted into a pressure housing. Interchangeable sensor caps with appropriate "sensing chemistry" are conveniently attached to the end of the optical fiber. This approach allows using the same instrument for multiple analytes, which offers great flexibility and minimizes hardware costs. Applications of the new optode system were demonstrated by recording depth profiles for the three parameters during a research cruise in the Baltic Sea and by measuring surface water transects of pH. The optode was furthermore used to monitor the concentration of dissolved oxygen in a seagrass meadow in the Limfjord, Denmark, and sensor packages consisting of pO(2), pH, and pCO(2) were deployed in the harbors of Kiel, Germany, and Southampton, England, for 6 d. The measurements revealed that the system can resolve typical patterns in seawater chemistry related to spatial heterogeneities as well as temporal changes caused by biological and tidal activity

    Enhanced ADCC activity of affinity maturated and Fc-engineered mini-antibodies directed against the AML stem cell antigen CD96.

    CD96, a cell surface antigen recently described to be preferentially expressed on acute myeloid leukemia (AML) leukemic stem cells (LSC) may represent an interesting target structure for the development of antibody-based therapeutic approaches. The v-regions from the CD96-specific hybridoma TH-111 were isolated and used to generate a CD96-specific single chain fragment of the variable regions (scFv). An affinity maturated variant resulting in 4-fold enhanced CD96-binding was generated by random mutagenesis and stringent selection using phage display. The affinity maturated scFv CD96-S32F was used to generate bivalent mini-antibodies by genetically fusing an IgG1 wild type Fc region or a variant with enhanced CD16a binding. Antibody dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) experiments revealed that Fc engineering was essential to trigger significant effector cell-mediated lysis when the wild type scFv was used. The mini-antibody variant generated by fusing the affinity-maturated scFv with the optimized Fc variant demonstrated the highest ADCC activity (2.3-fold enhancement in efficacy). In conclusion, our data provide proof of concept that CD96 could serve as a target structure for effector cell-mediated lysis and demonstrate that both enhancing affinity for CD96 and for CD16a resulted in mini-antibodies with the highest cytolytic potential
